Sixth Form Boarding

A warm welcome awaits you in Somerville House, the home of Sixth Form Boarding and the sixth form centre.

Students from around the world come together and start living in a community that helps them to prepare for their University experience. Throughout their two years in Somerville House all students are looked after by a dedicated team of professionals that consists of their Academic Tutors, House Mistress, House Tutors, Medical Staff and House Keeping staff.

The facilities for students include-

Well designed, comfortable single study bedrooms

Two common rooms with Sky TV, Pool Table and Table Tennis.

A library which houses University resources and creates a common study area.

A formal Drawing Room (with a piano) which creates a calm quiet room for reading, drama and music practice.

A kitchen and dining room for opportunities to cook

Laundry

On site facilities that are used by the Sixth Form include the swimming pool, sports hall and the very popular fitness centre.

All students have a programme of week-end excursions that include Paint Balling, Cinema and Theatre trips, Ice skating, and cultural/ shopping trips to London and Cambridge.
