Sport has always been considered an integral part of education at Saint Felix.
We believe in educating the ‘whole person’ and seek to develop healthy and caring team players who value the importance of co-operation and leadership.
We encourage all students to get involved in any of the various sports we offer and seek to help students make the most of their sporting abilities in a fun and healthily competitive environment.
Our sporting facilities are very good. The School's Sports Centre offers a 25m indoor swimming pool, squash courts, fitness suite, sports hall and dance studio. Outside we have immaculate grass pitches, hard courts (for netball and tennis), grass tennis courts and a climbing wall. Our students have achieved sporting success in a number of areas: we have produced county Netball, Rugby and Badminton players and a number of national time holders in Swimming. We have also been the Number One independent school in the county for Tennis.
Saint Felix plays a wide range of East Anglia's schools in many sports. The School aims to provide all pupils with the opportunity to experience competitive sport in their chosen fields. The major games played competitively are Rugby, Football, Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Rounders, Athletics, and Tennis. There are also a wide range of other competitive sporting opportunities, including Squash, Badminton, Basketball and Cross Country.
Saint Felix also understands the importance of giving students other opportunities within the sporting community. Students are able to attend Leadership and coaching courses in sports such as Tennis and Swimming and it is hoped this will be developed even further over the coming years.
