In the Junior School RE is delivered by a subject specialist.  The aim of the course is to introduce the children to the six major religions:- Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism.  This will enable children to understand why and how people worship and what influence their beliefs have on their everyday lives in order to promote a better understanding and respect for the different religious groups.
