The visual arts are central to life at Saint Felix. We have been awarded the Gold Arts Mark twice as recognition for the quality and range of our provision for all students. Our three studio spaces are spacious, light, airy and well equipped.

    

All pupils in Lower IV, Upper IV and Lower V (Years 7, 8 and 9) receive one double lesson per week (one hour and ten minutes) They use a diverse range of media so experience drawing, painting, printmaking and three dimensional construction which gives a sound foundation for future study at GCSE and A level. 

     

We aim to enhance our pupils' understanding of the visual arts through regular visits to galleries and museums. In the first three years these are usually to the excellent galleries in Norwich or Cambridge. Every October we visit either Barcelona or Madrid for six days to see the arts in another country.
