In the Sixth Form History students follow the Edexcel specifications. These allow considerable flexibility in the combination of topics covered enabling students to construct a programme suited to their specific interests. This year's Lower VI are preparing for papers on Henry VII & the Tudor Dynasty, Social & Economic Problems in the Inter-War Years (1919-1939) and Race Relations in the U.S.A. Coursework programmes in the Upper VI have included Russia 1861-1964 and Ireland 1799 -1922. Examination topics have included the wars in Korea and Vietnam, the French Revolution and Henry VIII & the Reformation in England.
