At AS and A2 Level students can choose to take OCR Spanish AS and A2 level.  The programme of study is based around the Ponte al dia course book which helps students to progress smoothly from GCSE level to the demands of the AS level course.  The book is divided up into 6 major units, the first three leading up to AS level and the second three units leading to a qualification at A2 level.  Students develop a much greater linguistic competence and are able to speak confidently in the target language as well as writing at a more sophisticated level and understanding texts and radio interviews and news reports in Spanish.  Students also gain a greater insight and understanding of the countries where Spanish is spoken.
