Little Dragons
Children aged between 2 to 3 yearsÂ
Â

Dragons aged between 2 and 3 years enjoy a tailor-made environment suitable for the developmental needs of very young children striving towards independence.
Activities and experiences are planned by fully qualified staff using the Early Years' Foundation Stage guidance. Learning through play, the children are encouraged to develop their social and emotional skills, communication via language and literacy and their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
Their physical and creative development is enhanced through music and movement and imaginative play opportunities. Children are introduced to early number and problem solving activities in a fun and exciting way.

Little Dragons are provided with a mixture of free play and structured activities. Painting, Art and Craft, Sand and Water play opportunities help to ensure an ever-changing and stimulating environment.
Staff operate a key worker system with 1 adult for every 4 children. Those in nappies are helped with potty training skills as they strive for independence.

Close links with the Baby Dragons' room ensures a continuous and free-flowing environment where children can move through when they are ready. Opportunities for restful activities and sleep are provided to ensure each child's natural pattern and needs can be met.
