Welcome to The Friends of Saint Felix, the school’s Parent Teacher Association.
All parents and staff are automatically members of The Friends, but our committee is made up of 26 representatives from all areas of the school, uniquely positioned within the school community to link governors, senior management, teachers and parents.
Throughout the year we organise events, including the Christmas and Summer Fayres, the Summer Ball and Silcox Lectures and social occasions for the children, for fun, to bond the school community and to raise funds for a variety of projects.
The Friends also meet regularly to discuss issues raised by staff, parents and children, to highlight problems, air grievances, find solutions and generally work to improve communication and relations within the school. We also run the school shop.
Through all our activities we aim to enhance and extend the experience of the education of all pupils at Saint Felix School.
On the linked pages you will find details of our meetings and subjects currently under discussion, information about money raised and how it is being spent; details about forthcoming events, photos and stories from our recent fundraisers and a list of teacher and parent representatives.
Shortly we hope to organise meetings for parents throughout the school to raise issues and discuss topics in a parents-only forum and information regarding this will be posted on the site shortly. In the meantime if you have any queries or comments or if there is anything you would like to have raised at our next meeting, please don’t hesitate to email, in confidence, any of the representatives listed on the contacts page.
