Boarding

Around a third of the pupils at Saint Felix are boarders. They come from a range of backgrounds: some from Service families, some from overseas, some just because their parents value either the seven-days-a-week ethos of a traditional English boarding school and some who are looking for a mix-and-match approach which our weekly boarding and ‘flexi-boarding’ arrangements allow.

Occasional boarding is also available for pupils who may have an early start or late finish from a school outing, or whose parents are called away on work or family business. The presence of boarders on the campus gives the school a constant vibrancy and energy. The three boarding houses (one boys’, one girls’ and one co-ed Upper Sixth) are each under the care of house parents and resident tutors. Boarders enjoy supervised prep in the evenings and make full use of the sports facilities on site, including our impressive swimming pool. Exciting weekend trips are provided away from school in addition to the full boarding programme of activities.
