Mrs Margaret Angus MSc, TCert Chairman of Governors
A Governor since January 2003 and Chairman of Governors since February 2007. Headmistress of Saint Felix School from 1987 to 1991. Subsequently Joint Head of two other independent schools. Member of F and GP Committee. Chairman of the Senior School Education Committee. Governor with responsibility for Child Protection / Safeguarding. Post Graduate qualifications in Careers Education and in the teaching of children with specific learning difficulties. Re-elected 2007.  Due to retire in 2012.
Mr John Whyte  Vice Chairman of Governors
Chairman of the Governing Body from 2002-2007, Chairman of the Finance and General Purposes Committee.  Business entrepreneur, farmer and property developer. Saint Felix parent with four daughters and now grandchildren at the school. Elected 2002, Re-elected 2008, due to retire in 2011.
Mrs Lynda Al-Nakeeb
Particularly interested in the creative arts and in publishing.  Has previously been a Parent Governor. Daughter, an Old Felician. Elected 2006, Re-elected 2009, Retiring 2012.
Mr Robin Fournel
Jeweller. Owner, with his wife, of the Amber Museum and Amber shop in Southwold and jewellery businesses in Aldeburgh and Bungay. Two almost grown up sons. Founder member of the National Youth Theatre. Interested in art. Appointed to assist in the promotion of links with the local community. Elected May 2010.
Mrs Raewyn Hope-Cobbold BA
Originally trained as a teacher in New Zealand. Later became an entrepreneur running an extremely successful small business in Suffolk. Now closely involved in organising and developing 'Glemham Events' which she started in 2003. Elected 2008.
Mrs Amorelle Hughes.
Parent Governor, elected in June 2008 via her membership of the 'Friends of Saint Felix Committee'. Her son is now in the Senior school. Elected 2008.
Dr John Hunt
Parent Governor. Younger daughter currently in VI form. Cambridge graduate with over thirty years post doctoral experience with MAFF and latterly Cefas. President of the Rotary Club in Lowestoft, 2009-2010. Governor representative on Health and Safety Committee. Elected 2009.
Mr Nigel Johnson.
IAPS Prep School Headmaster for many years. Led Brandeston Hall from 1985 –2000 and was subsequently appointed Headmaster of Terra Nova School in Cheshire. ISI inspector. Retired to Southwold in July 2009. Member of the F and GP Committee and Chairman of the Junior School. Education Committee. Elected 2009
Dom Antony Sutch OSB
Roman Catholic priest of the parish of St Benet’s in Beccles. Previously Headmaster of Downside. Dom Antony has a well established national reputation as a broadcaster and public speaker. Elected 2006, Re-elected 2009. Retiring 2012.
Mr Richard Turvill
Company Director with a diverse range of business experience. Has been a senior strategy consultant and marketing manager. Has worked in France, Germany and Switzerland. Member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee. Parent. Elected May 2010

Retired as a governor in Spring 2010 but has taken on the role of company secretary Retired businessman with grandchildren in all sections of the school. Non voting member of the F and GP Committee. Main interest - management and leadership issues.
