The Music Department celebrated the end of the Lent term with a 'Choral Carnival' spectacular.  This was held in the Silcox Theatre with over 100 young musicians on the stage.  The Junior School Choir, directed by Mrs Virr, began with an 'African Welcome', which combined solo song and traditional African choruses, along with some impressive djembe drumming.

The Senior Choir, 'Rejoicing in Song' was conducted by Veta Wise.  The evening culminated in a performance of 'Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo'.  Many singing pupils had been given solos and there were a number of instrumentalists participating, including Harry Wickham on Drum Kit.  The colourful 'Rainbow' scene at the end was a fitting finale!
