Lower Two Southwold Visit - 16th June 2009 |
|
Â
On Tuesday 16th June Lower Two climbed 113 steps to the top of Southwold lighthouse. They then had a talk about how the lighthouse works now and how it had worked in the past. This complemented their recent scientific study on electricity.

In the afternoon they visited the Alfred Corry musuem where they were given the opportunity to climb aboard an old lifeboat. This gave them a sense of how difficult it must have been to operate and how skilled and brave Grace Darling must have been!
