Junior School Children In Need - November 2009 |
|
Spots were the theme for children at Saint Felix’s Junior School on Children in Need day. Pupils paid £1 to wear spotty clothing, and the £73 pounds raised will all go to the charity which raises money to help young people across the UK.
Spots of all colours were on display, with some painting dots on their faces to match their outfits. One child, four-year-old Jack Wilmot from Reception class, even went as far as dressing up as Children in Need mascot, Pudsey Bear – complete with furry suit and teddy bear ears!

As part of the day, children in the Junior School ate cakes decorated with Pudsey bears, and coloured in colouring sheets with Pudsey bear on.
Headmistress of the Junior School, Julia Campbell, was delighted with how creative the children had been. “All the pupils have put in an incredible amount of effort, and Jack Wilmot’s Pudsey Bear outfit is terrific,” she said. “The staff have dressed in spotty clothes too, we’ve all had lots of fun and it’s all for a great cause.”
