Saint Felix set the Standard
Saint Felix School U12 and U13 Rounders teams made a fantastic start to their rounders season with two convincing wins against Langley School on Wednesday 21st April. The U12s dominated from the start. Top scorers Clea Turvill and Emily Whyte both clocked up an impressive four and a half rounders each. In the field Ottilie Mitchell and Clea Turvill set up an encouraging partnership stumping the majority of their opposition out at first post.
The U13s gave a calm and composed performance in the field and demonstrated sound tactical knowledge. Olivia Harrod currently stands as the teams' top scorer whilst Megan Pleasants is the teams' top catcher. Both team should be proud of their victories (22 1/2 - 8, 5 1/2 - 13 1/2). Rachel Dennison, U12 Captain said on our return journey home, "We made a confident start and I hope we build on our success next week against Woodbridge".
