Tuesday 5^th May 2010 - Lowestoft and Beccles U12 Netball Tournament

SAINT FELIX NARROWLY MISS OUT ON LIFTING THE TROPHY

The Saint Felix U12 Netball team impressed all on Tuesday at the Lowestoft and Beccles Netball Tournament at Kirkley High School.  In the initial pool stage Saint Felix dominated beating Worlingham Middle School, Beccles Middle School, Foxborough Middle and Lothingland Middle School.

Being top of their pool Saint Felix went on to face Harris Middle School and gain another victory to find their place in the final.  Shooters Emily Whyte and Mimi Stannard demonstrated accuracy on goal, Beth Bandy effective use of space and Clea Turvill (Player of the Tournament) exceptional play in both attacking and defensive positions.  In a close final Lothingland Middle gained confidence and scraped a 3-1 win to take the trophy away from the Saint Felix team in the closing minutes of the game.
